Dust up!
Design hotel? More like disease hotel.
That’s what describes my experience.
Starting with a room will all amenities including a good old batch of dust, yes, lot’s of it. Woke up from my first night with the allergies kicking in, sore throat, cough, sneezing and red eyes. The 4 stars turning into the 4 symptoms.
Got myself to the reception on this first morning where the receptionist promised to have my room fully cleaned after I pointed out my allergies. Went to have breakfast right after and there is a good shock of poorly cleaned materials and cabinets. An hotel not only for the people but where bacteria can also take a nap and feel cozy (forget the nap part).
When I got back to the hotel at the end of the day, my room was the same, dust, dust and more dust. The reception said it was their mistake and they would book a housekeeping for the next day, another night with a dusty room? Unbearable, I mentioned my allergies again and they would then clean the room while i was out for dinner. When I returned, my room had some clean towels and more water bottles but no difference regarding the dust situation. I tried to clean it myself with a wet towel, but the room is so dusty that within 5 minutes everything was the same again. We left the hotel the next morning checking out earlier than expected, because of illness. This is a concern for public health and the hotel should think on how their approach should change. 2 of the WORST nights I had in my life. 158€/night for this, I was robbed. DO NOT STAY at this hotel!
