cosy trendy tasty hospitality with a smile
A most delightfull experience that suited our requirements more than we had expected. A friendly helpful staff, a more than common breakfast with fresh Bread fruit and all what is needed to enjoy breakfast to the full. Nice decorated cosy rooms. At walking distance to the center and located in an area where a lot of nice restaurants can be found for every pocket value and taste. Shortly - very recommendable
Never again - bad value for a lot of money
5 or 6 years ago it was a very nice hotel. Now those days are gone... Shower too low. I am just 180 cm long and could not stand straight under the shower. And very poor water pressure in the shower. Bad lightning, curtains were torn, loads of weeds and cigarettes on the balcony. We had a superior room and paid €370 for one night. So it was an inferior experience.
Design what?
The hotel does not deserve the name design. All i saw was simple kitch. Arriving at the hotel was fine, and the blonde receptionist was lovely. Next to her was middle-aged man sitting and talking to some teenage boy. I assume that was the manager who completely ignored us, no greeting, nothing. We got our prestige room, and upon entering the room, we thought WTH. First of all, getting to the room was like going through the maze. You take a lift, then navigate yourself through the maze and another flight of stairs to your room. In the middle of the room, jacuzzi with a sofa facing it. Tiles were smudged with some cleaning products to look clean but far from it. The entire place is dirty. See the photos attached. Right on the ceiling above the bed so much accumulated dust, and you can't tell me they didn't see it. It's never been cleaned. The redhead had so much dust on it. Bed linen was hard like a tea towel, not to mention the pillows. The pillow filling felt like it was a sponge cut into pieces. Don't bother with the breakfast. I feel sick thinking about it. All we had was some butter and bread. The young guy wearing a black t shirt was cleaning the tables with a very wet cloth, then going to the open plan kitchen, not washing his hands before making/cutting breakfast buffet. This has to be one of the worst experiences. Don't bother having breakfast at the hotel if you decide to stay, right opposite the hotel is a nice bakery. You'll be safer eating there, i guess. The bathroom is a separate story. Make sure you bring some domestos to clean the filthy tiles and your toilet paper as the one they provide is similar to a 180-grit sand paper.
