stay in Designhotel

short break with family as a birthday present for my sister was very nice. We found the digital key less comfortabel. Sometimes the elevator stopped. That gave us not a nice feeling.

Lovely hotel with an excellent location.

I had a wonderful stay at Designhotel Maastricht. The location is excellent nearby the train station and city center. The room was clean, the bed good and the breakfast delicious.

Wonderful hotel in a great location

Located only a block or two from the train station, near restaurants and shops just up the street the Designhotel is a wonderful and convenient spot to stay. We were in Maastricht to see André Rieu, but stayed at another hotel the night of the concert. We wanted to stay in Maastricht a second day to explore the city and relax so we booked at the Designhotel because our original hotel was full of concert goers. We were not disappointed. The hotel is wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful, just terrific actually. The breakfast is also very good and includes a full variety of items including delicious pastries. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is a short walk to the foot and bicycle bridge that crossed the Maas river into the main part of town. We made this walk several times while in Maastricht. It is a delightful walk across the river in to town and mostly flat. Being so close to the train station is also a plus for those (like us) who fight the clock to be on time. Wonderful stay!
